The Royal Christmas Fair is one of the largest and nicest Christmas markets in the Netherlands. From 4 to 23 December 2025, the Royal Christmas Fair will bring you into the ultimate Christmas atmosphere with twinkling lights and well-known Christmas songs. This year even more festive, atmospheric and colorful than previous years!
Experience Christmas in Scheveningen this winter! Within 15 minutes from our hotel, you can be in beautifully lit Scheveningen. There is so much to enjoy this winter: glide across the 600 m² ice skating rink at the Cool Event, take a stroll on the Scheveningen Light Walk on November 22, or visit the AFAS Circustheater for the musical FROZEN (still showing until January 4!).
Do you need some Christmas shopping? No worries, The Hague is the perfect city for a day of festive shopping. During the holiday season, shops in the city center stay open longer. For specialty stores, visit the Passage; for stylish boutiques, check out Denneweg or Frederikstraat; and for well-known fashion retailers, head to Grote Marktstraat.
